JSW steel stock prices declined more than 1 percent intraday on March 8 even though the company reported a better raw steel production for February.
“JSW Steel reported raw steel production for February at 15.80 lakh tons, up 21% YoY on a standalone base,” said the company in his release.
Production ‘Rolled Products: Flat’ rose 25 percent at 11.54 lakh tons and ‘rolled products: Long’ jumped 8 percent on tons of 3.67 lakh.
The utilization of the average expanded capacity is 88 percent; Its use is 98 percent excluding Dolvi expansion project, the company added.
At 9:34 a.m. JSW Steel quoted at Rs 630.90, down Rs 6.45 or 1.01 percent on BSE.
This section touched the highest 52 weeks Rs 776.50 and 52 weeks low of RS 396.70 on August 6, 2021 and March 9, 2021 respectively.
At present, it is traded by 18.75 percent below the 52 week highs and 59.04 percent above the lowest level of 52 weeks.
