Norfolk Mead Wedding Photographer
Zoe & Ben’s wedding took place at the Norfolk Mead Hotel near Norwich. I started the day in the Thorpe Hamlet area of Norwich where the bridal preparations were getting underway as I arrived – hairspray, champagne and lots of fun and laughter!
Leaving the bride and her bridesmaids, I joined the groom and groomsmen as they gathered in the Red Lion for a few drinks before the ceremony. The wedding itself took place at St John the Baptist church in Coltishall, just around the corner from the Norfolk Mead.
It was a beautiful ceremony, full of loving little looks and smiles between the bride and groom as well as some funny little moments, as the best man got in a bit of a muddle trying to remove the rings from their pillow and some late arrivals sneaked in at the back!
After a few quick group shots, the wedding party headed on foot to the Norfolk Mead where they spent some time being served drinks and canapés in the surroundings of the beautiful walled garden. There was an impromptu croquet tournament which, as these things can tend to, became more competitive but less skilled as the day wore on and drinks were consumed. There was some time for portraits before the speeches and then cutting of the cake, before a few more portraits in the grounds of the hotel and then onto the first dance and evening celebrations.
A great crowd of people and a cracking couple in Zoe and Ben made this one to remember – enjoy!
