The New York Times Covers mPassport Update

mPassport, HTH Worldwide’s mobile app that serves as a “mobile medical passport” for international travelers, recently was updated to make accessing medical information and care around the world even more convenient. How big a deal is this? Big enough that the New York Times just covered the news.

On the In Transit blog, Rachel Harris reports on the added functionality of mPassport, which now offers more translations of drug names and medical phrases and provides additional regional health alerts. Enhancements to the app also include increased access to city health and security profiles.

mPassport is included in all HTH Worldwide insurance plans and is available through a subscription.  Over 100,000 business and leisure travelers, students and expats, have traveled the world with mPassport and used it to locate medical providers, request appointments and find local equivalents for over the counter and prescription medications.

mPassport is available through the App Store, Google Play and Amazon.com.
