The New Look Skirt! (My First OOTD)

Here we go my first ever ootd, I am so pleased I am starting to get the confidence to do these. I have always loved clothes but over the last few years I lost interest as nothing would fit and if it did, it looked awful on. After Christmas I did a bit of sale shopping as I had got to the stage where everything I owned was too big but I didn't want to spend loads on a new wardrobe just yet as I still have weight to lose. So I have picked a few items up in the sale to keep me going until I hit the next dress size. This floral skirt is from New Look and was just £4, a complete bargain! It has buttons running up the front that all undo and two pockets at the side. I wear it as a high wasted skirt and it ends a few inches above the knee which is a length I like. I have been wearing this dressed down with long sleeve t-shirts, both the ones pictured above are from Dorothy Perkins. I then paired it with some black tights and a pair of black boots. On the left I am wearing a heeled pair of Chelsea boots from H&M and on the right a pair of wedge, suede boots from Aldo which I got a few years ago. (Note, take more detailed/close up pics of the outfit. You can tell I am new to this) Also in the picture on the left I decided to add a belt to bring in my waist and I think it really brought the look together. I have had the belt for years and have no idea where it is from. As you can tell I am loving this skirt and it is getting an outing a good couple of times a week, £4 well spent I think. Apologies for the bad pictures but hopefully over time I will get even more confident with these outfit posts. I hope you enjoyed reading and do let me know if you have found any sale bargains?
