Following shows with Idles and ahead of three performances at The Great Escape in Brighton, The Murder Capital have shared the video for new single ‘Green & Blue’ and announced an extensive UK tour. Opening with a brooding bass line, the darkly evocative six minutes has elements of shoegaze, post-punk and a gothic feel that brings to mind Sisters of Mercy or The Twilight Sad’s more introspective moments as frontman James McGovern laments the fact a choir has sung its final song and continually offers promises that ‘I’ll correlate the green and blue for you’.
