The Monday Photoblog… Cricket, Lovely Cricket

DC Editor Adam Scott-Goulding writes…

Monday is ALMOST mute here on The Daily Constitutional. I always launch the week with a few London photos, grouped on a theme or neighbourhood.
This week: Congratulations to England on winning the Cricket World Cup!
With the world's oldest international cricket fixture due to start at Lord's next week when England host Australia, I've been snapping…

 The kangaroo of Australia…

… faces the lion of England over…

… cricket.

The wicket keeper is wearing an Aussie cap and is clearly very unhappy… is this the shape of things to come for the Ashes?
The details in my pics can be seen in Melbourne Place WC2 with the reflection of the roof of the High Commission of Australia in shot number three.

The Monday Photoblog will return next week. In the meantime, if you'd like to share a London photo with me, please do! Perhaps you joined me on a tour and snapped a great shot. Drop me a line.
