The Media Around Us in Italian Language

In this globalized world, the boundaries become more and more unreal and the exchanges of the information  are more and more  faster. Internet is a new media with a series of logic that exceed the classical media. Anyway they are always there with you, in your homes and in your lives. Think about it! You're driving in traffic, and there is nothing but you, the road and the boredom or the hassle of having to wait that the queue of the cars in front of you  moves again: what you can do to kill time? We turn on the radio = radio, listen to the good music and maybe we laugh with the hilarious DJ. Your salvation! The day is over. We get home, we throw our shoes in a corner, we eat, we flop down  on = stravacchiamo the sofà and what do we do?  We turn on the television =televisione of course! The remote control = telecomando, - that magical tool - becomes the scepter of a compulsive change of the channels.   According to the logic of the current frenzy and the bustle is better  to see a bit of everything than only one thing at a time! What a pity, however, losing the pleasure of enjoying a good movie from the beginning to the end. If there was nothing on TV? How about a carefree evening at the cinema= cinema  eating  popcorn?  Great idea!
Personally I prefer  a newspaper, a book = libro and the radio as media, and if I can suggest: dress your pigiama,  stay in your sofa,  turn the radio on and  read. How wonderful!
