The Magic of Paint

By Thedesignerpad @TheDesignerPad

As a DIY'elfer I'm always in the lookout for new products that will make my projects go smoothly and get the best results possible. For me, a good quality paint is key for achieving those goals. One of my favorite hobbies is transforming old pieces of furniture and giving them a modern look without compromising their original charm. I'm glad to have been introduced to Glidden® Trim, Door & Furniture Paint and its amazing lacquer-like finish that leaves anything that touches looking shiny and new. This oil-base paint is so rich and thick that it practically erases any minor imperfections my newfound treasures might have. And the best part: I never see any brush marks or drips while or after applying it.

I used this awesome paint to revive this old desk and on to create an side table for my outdoor living space. As you can see the finish on both pieces is flawlessly beautiful and smooth with an extra high gloss sheen I simply love. Trust me, this paint is like butter!
