The Lousy Reason Why Most People Get Fired from Jobs

Somebody didn’t like you. That’s the reason.

Somebody as in your boss and your supervisor. Not bad work, not bad attitude, not bad attendance

I know quite a few people who got fired from their jobs, and 90% of the time the reason given was a fake one. In 90% of the firings I have heard about, the person was fired simply because his superior did not like him. Others were fired for things like refusing to work mandated overtime hours, even when mandating overtime is illegal. So they were fired for standing up to labor laws against bosses who were violating the Labor Code.

I honestly believe that this is true. 90% of the time someone gets fired, the only reason is that the boss does not like the worker on a personal basis. He can never admit that, so he makes up a phony reason for the firing. Nobody’s perfect, and we are all making mistakes every day. Obviously workers are making minor errors all day long. So if you ever want to fire someone, you just look into the past to find out a few times when they came in 3 minutes late or look for the few inevitable errors they made.

I truly believe that 90% of firings are not due to poor worker. Most people are good, responsible, hard workers. If a person is fired, it is almost always due to a personality conflict.
