It's the annual Daily Constitutional Christmas Shopping Guide!

Every year the London Walks guides round-up their fave shops and stalls along (or near) the routes of their London Walks tours.

Are you having a tough time with the ol' Christmas shopping? Angela is on hand, not with tea and sympathy, but with tea and mustard. Over to Angela…
Maille

Maille is the French house of mustard, as it were, and in the winter months they do truffle mustard from a pump, super treaty for those who like truffles. And mustard. Keep an eye out on The Old Palace Quarter walk.

Twinings

Then there's Twinings on Strand, a tiny narrow shop facing Royal Courts of Justice. It's on the site of the original teashop and not only do they do every conceivable type of tea, loose and bags, but also do lovely compartmentalised wooden boxes which you can fill with teas of your choice, an ideal gift for the tea lover!
My Legal & Illegal London Walk, which I do Friday afternoons [2pm Holborn] finishes directly opposite the shop!

The Ed adds: Thanks Angela!
About Your Correspondent:
Angela
Angela is one special actress. "She's so good it's almost impossible to compliment her", as Frederic Raphael, the author of The Glittering Prizes, said of her performance in that award-winning series. A similarly smitten Clive James said of her "Helena in the Royal Shakespeare Company's All's Well That Ends Well: "You couldn't ask to hear the words better spoken".
