The Light Between Two Oceans Review

Last week I was invited to see a private screening of the new movie The Light Between Two Oceans. I brought along one of my best girlfriends to see it with me because who doesn't love to see a lovey movie with their best gal pal?
We got to the theater early, grabbed popcorn and a drink and headed into the theater. I had actually read the book a few years back so I was extremely anxious to see this particular film. As always, I usually am pretty biased with loving the book more than the film but I really enjoyed this adaptation of the novel. For those of you that don't know what about the plot of the story, the plot shares a tragic story of a lighthouse keeper named Tom Sherbourne and his wife Isable. After discovering a baby in a boat that had been shipwrecked, they face consequences of their decision to raise the baby as their own.
Filled with anger, frustration, hope and secrets, the movie was intense yet left you wondering what would happen next. I remember thinking what would I do if I was in a situation like Isable and Tom's? It would be extremely difficult to not be able to conceive a child and then be faced with the ultimate decision to help nurture one when it's presented to you during terrible circumstances! I couldn't imagine and then to keep a secret of raising a child that isn't your own?! Goodness! 
If you're in the mood for a dramatic film filled with the ups and downs of life's tough questions, grab your spouse, best friend and partner and crime to head out and see the film! You won't be disappointed and I'd love to hear what you think of it in the comments below!
