The irony is that while I enjoy dressing up in the cooler months a whole lot more, I do not enjoy leaving my home in the frigid temperatures at all, unless absolutely necessary. I am infamous among my friends and family, for being in hibernation from November till April. I rarely make any social plans. I triple check the weather forecast before making any kinds of appointments and meetings which require commutes or use of public transportation. If you know me, you know that you will most likely not get to see me for six months, unless you like in a 5 mile radius of my home. <I know, I am so weird!> So whenever there is a sunny fall/winter day in forecast I schedule practically everything for that day, most importantly an outfit shoot, no matter what! <Priorities, right?> These pictures were taken on one such pleasant sunny fall morning. While my husband is a difficult person to shoot (he never likes any pictures) I am counting my lucky stars that I was able to convince him, not once but twice in one month, to be featured in his and her's style post. In the previous post (here) we weren't able to get any shots of us together, but this time around, thanks to Basil, we have plenty to make me smile. We were able to shoot our matching packable jackets and sneakers from Roots. The jackets have become both of our's go-to in the last few weeks. They are light and warm which makes them perfect for travel. Even though I usually gravitate towards colors, I went with the 'salt and pepper' this time, for its versatility. Colors stand out, and in my experience neutral jackets gets more wear out of them. Also, obsessed with the Rideau sneakers. They are 端ber chic and comfortable. I cannot wait to style in some winter looks soon. Now on to the pictures ... Photography by Basil
