“Tangle” is a cool track from the South London group The Hics that will definitely appeal to those who were into the downtempo trip-hop and electronica scene of the 1990′s (think Portishead, obviously), but is original enough to gain some attention from today’s youth as well. The six piece group clearly has hip-hop, electronic and jazz influences and they are gaining quite a bit of attention, including being named runners-up in Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards without even having an official release.
