The Hiatus, Qutub Hotel - Enjoy The Comfort of Good Food

When a place is done beautifully it uplifts your mood and provides a very pleasant dining experience. I had a similar experience when I, along with my blogger friends was invited at The Hiatus, Qutub Hotel to try their new winter menu which they had recently launched.Well done restaurant and just before you enter - you can see a huge swimming pool.
You will spot the bar which they call H bar and it is well stocked!. Designed beautifully and they have an al-fresco area. It is like sitting in a forest as you are surrounded by trees – gives you an amazing relaxation! One of the highlights was their PDR which is well designed. Well, that’s not all that they have - a wine tasting room as well which is very well designed and is an ideal place for wine tasting. The best part was their chef’s table which is inside the kitchen. It was a brilliant idea as it not only gives you an inside view, but also enjoy live cooking! Let’s talk about the food. They have world cuisine that means - they have variety of options to choose from and then they have food from the hiatus lab, which has some amount of molecular gastronomy as well.
The watermelon and rocket leaves with green apple salad were fresh and delicious. I loved the bread which they had served along with herb infused butter.  The wok tossed scallops worked well with lots of broccoli and other veggie, however the vegetable cigar failed to impress me. Dry crispy lamb had good flavor (I found the lamb little chewy). I loved the tikki fusion that was crisp and well-cooked and had a tangy curd sphere on the top. Broccoli Cappuccino soup was absolutely delicious and was highlight along with salads.  For a change, in the mains, I enjoyed the cottage cheese cooked with Indian spices that was served with bread.
We finished our meal with red velvet cake and Mini Mint Plant Surprise that had Tiramisu New Way, Chocolate Soil, and Coffee Espresso and was Topped with Zabaglione Foam which we enjoyed.
If you are looking for relaxed afternoon and enjoy the comfort of good food with excellent ambience, Hiatus is the place for you. This place will be a super bonus if you are a wine or scotch lover.
