Story: The Haunted Apartment: Miss K starts when Alma (Kiehl) visits a seriously ill friend and decides to investigate what could have caused it. She is joined by her teenage daughter Mia (Arum) as they stay in the same hotel and the same room. However, a leak from the room above leads them to investigate the floor above.
Once they do, they unlock the horrifying spirit that attaches to them. It torments them and leads them to need to investigate the building’s history. However, they are not prepared for the spirit’s power and how it consumes souls.
Verdict on The Haunted Apartment: Miss K
Recap
The movie follows a mother and daughter who become attached to an evil spirit. It begins to consume their lives trying to take their lives and it becomes a race to stop it. However, the history behind the spirit only causes more problems.
Best Parts
The scares have plenty of intensity and have genuinely frightening events happening. It uses one of my personal favorite elements of horror to give us a compelling story. The ghost investigation idea is one I love watching and I feel if you like this sub-genre of horror, you will enjoy this one too.
Worst Parts
While it has great scares and an interesting story. It does struggle to feel original in the field of many horrors that follow the same concepts. This might not be a truly bad thing, but if you were looking for something original, it won’t find it here.
Final Thoughts –The Haunted Apartment: Miss K has great scares throughout.
