The Grown-Ish Cast Just Got Bigger Adds Model & Stylist Luka Sabbat

The cast of Freeform’s Grown-ish just got bigger.  The upcoming spin-off from Black-ish just cast model and stylist  Luka Sabbat in a recurring role according to reports.

According to Deadline, Sabbat will play Luca Hall, a free-spirited, wannabe existentialist and fellow student at California University. He joins series star, Yara Shahidi, along with Deon Cole, Chris Parnell, Emily Arlook, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa and Jordan Buhat and Chloe x Halle.

Luka Sabbat tweeted about the news, saying this is his first time acting.

Guys! My first time acting, I promise you this will be good!

Production on the 13-episode comedy series has begun already  in Los Angeles, with the cast finishing episode 1 on Sunday. It’s slated to premiere in early 2018 on Freeform.

Kenya Barris,  Barris, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland and E. Brian Dobbins are executive producers of the series.
