The Golden Headband
By Invisiblestilettos
Hello darlings! How's your Valentine's Day? I hope you all had a blast. Today, we will be making a super simple DIY headband. I was browsing Elle's web site these past few days and came across still pictures of the Dolce and Gabbana's read-to-wear collection. The gold collection was so glamorous! I got inspired and went ahead making myself this gold headband.
For this DIY headband, you will need the following:1. An old plain headband2. A pair of scissors3. Glue gun + glue stick4. Some gold trimmingLet's get started :) First, get your gold trimming. Cut it to the same length as your headband with about an inch of allowance on both ends. Place some glue on your plain headband then glue the trimming. Make sure that the width of the trimming is wider than the width of your headband.Press down the trimming and let it dry. For that 1-inch trimming allowance, fold it on the inside part of your headband and secure with glue. This is a nice way to revamp your old headbands. You can also use other fabric. Lace and ribbons would also be nice for this project. You are done! A super simple DIY for you guys. I love the trimming I used for this headband. They remind me of those ornaments on stone pillars in GreeceHave fun doing this project my DIY goddesses!
* I would also like to thank Mrs. Panda. This is the first time I won a blog giveaway. Yay! :) I super love it! The timing was perfect. The delivery came exactly on Valentine's Day. Thank you very much girl friend!
