Story: The G starts when Ann Hunter (Dickey) and her husband Chip are taken suddenly overnight. They have been placed under a corrupt legal guardianship and locked in an apartment building. The guardians demand everything they have and sell their assets. Ann’s granddaughter Emma (Denis) tries to help her, but the paperwork says it is all legal.

Tragically, Chip passes away in the home, leaving Ann alone and his family not wanting to talk to her. They blame her and refuse to help her escape, left alone, she decides to use her previous set of skills to get revenge on the people who left her there.

Verdict on The G

The G is a crime thriller following a grandmother who gets kidnapped and thrown into a retirement complex. The man behind it has taken her assets and has been targeting the elderly for years now. However, this time they messed with the wrong person and face the consequences of their actions.

This movie uses a horrendous legal loophole to show how sinister people act. They take elderly people’s money and dump them in care homes with next nothing. However, a lot like The Beekeeper, we see somebody willing to fight back. This does head down different paths, which present different outcomes than expected, it still remains important to learn how things are operating. Dale Dickey is brilliant in the leading role and Romane Denis is great to as the granddaughter trying to help. The story could leave you disturbed and creates criminals you really hate.
