During the summer months my style staple is wearing effortless sundresses. I look for various styles in a variety of lengths, fabrics, and prints. Before I set off for my vacation to Arizona , I bought a bunch . Unfortunately, when they arrived most didn't fit, and I ended up keeping 2 out of 12.
While I was shopping in Old Town Scottsdale my family and I decided we'd take a day trip to Jerome the following day. After dinner I went into the closest store I could find-Urban Outfitters. I was too tired to try anything on, so when my mom pointed out this white babydoll, off-the-shoulder fruit print dress I grabbed it and prayed it would fit. On my way to the register I spotted a rattan mini circle bag I had been eyeing and I purchased it.
Once we got back to the hotel, I tried the dress on and loved the flattering fit. It was just the right length and featured one of my preferred silhouettes, an empire waist. added a fun pop of colors. The sweetheart neckline with off-the-shoulder puff sleeves added a feminine touch, but my favorite thing about it was how the fruit print of purple grapes, peaches, and grapefruit
When it came time to accessorize, I opted for a pair of white mules and brought with me a backup pair of brown leather flip flops because I knew that I'd be doing a lot of walking. For jewelry I chose various minimalist gold tone pieces, mainly by Gorjana. To include more color, I singled out my purple leather and beaded bracelet, a pink and gold Aztec print bangle bracelet my mom let me borrow and I added a skinny zig-zag beaded bracelet I had just bought in Old Town that showcased the same colors in the dress. To tie everything together, I accessorized with my new purse and kept a denim jacket close by in case I got cold.
