The First Trailer for Damian Lee Film A Dark Truth

Magnolia Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for the action-thriller A Dark Truth. The project is directed and scripted by Damian Lee (Sacrifice, King of Sorrow, The Poet). It is produced by Bill Marks, Andy Garcia, Devon Bostick, Jeff Sackman, Rick Chad, Kim Coates and Gary Howsam.

The star casts include Andy Garcia, Kevin Durand, Deborah Kara Unger, Kim Coates, Eva Longoria and Forest Whitaker.

The thriller film A Dark Truth will hit limited theatres on January 4^th, 2013.

Plot:

Garcia plays a former CIA operative turned political talk show host, who is hired by a corporate whistle blower (Deborah Kara Unger) to expose her company’s cover-up of a massacre in a South American village. When he arrives, he is plunged into a violent and chaotic situation, with the military cracking down on a group of protesters led by a pair of activists (Eva Longoria and Forest Whitaker). The ever-increasing depletion of earth’s natural resource of water serves as the backdrop for this tense environmental thriller.
