Since I’ve decided to start a new feature here at Southern Vision, The Films I’m Anticipating, I decided to kick it off with Dupieux’s newest film, Wrong, which has impressed and annoyed audiences at festivals across the globe and has yet to make it to DVD. It is the story of a man who desperately attempts to find his lost dog, but it is also much more than that. It is filled to the brim with almost overwhelming surreal and senseless imagery, and a nonsensical plot which has befuddled many. Normally I wouldn’t be interested, but after seeing the trailer I just cannot resist and am eagerly awaiting this film’s release. Have a look at the trailer below and let me know if it interests you. And if you’ve seen any of Dupieux’s previous films, let me know what you think of them too.
