For years, men's red carpet fashion was just a side dish of cookie-cutter tuxedos. Now it is often the starter.
Menswear takes center stage thanks to daring 'envelope pushers' like Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet and Billy Porter - and the designers and stylists behind them. And this year's awards season promises to be a visual feast.

The veteran imagemaker will dress Barry Keoghan, nominated for "Saltburn," James Marsden, nominated for "Jury Duty," Tyler James Williams, nominated for "Abbott Elementary," and Ramy Youssef, nominated for "Poor Things."
Born in Rome and raised in Paris, Urbinati started her career in fashion as a buyer before entering the world of styling. Based in Los Angeles, she also has retail experience; she opened a store in Silver Lake, Confederacy, now closed, in 2008, with brands including Etro, Alaïa, Proenza Schouler, Martin Margiela, Michael Bastian, Rag & Bone and APC. She collaborated on a line of tailor-made suits that were featured on the clothing of Ryan Gosling's character from 'Crazy, Stupid, Love', has created capsule collections for Eddie Bauer, Montblanc, The Mighty Company, Rebecca Minkoff, London Sock Company and Roots of Fight , and has had partnerships with Porsche, Walmart and David Yurman. She is often featured in The Hollywood Reporter's 'Most Powerful Stylists' issue and was featured on the cover with client Dwayne Johnson.
Jeanne Yang is also no stranger to top stylist lists. Based in LA, she started her career as editor-in-chief and associate publisher at Detour Magazine. Over the years, her client list has included Christian Bale, Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves, Jamie Dornan, Taika Waititi, Simu Liu, Kumail Nanjiani, Regé-Jean Page and Anthony Mackie. At the Globes, she will dress Alexander Skarsgård ("Succession") and Joseph Lee ("Beef"). In 2023, it was announced that Yang joined Anonymous Content as manager and producer. She works across all divisions, representing emerging talent, developing and producing film and TV projects, leading new ventures, branding deals and working on Anonymous Content's creative incubator, The Lab. Lee is one of her clients.

One to keep an eye on is stylist Evet Sanchez, who recently dressed Leonardo DiCaprio during his 'Killers of the Flower Moon' tour. She had him in Gucci tuxedos at both the LACMA gala in LA and the 2023 Gotham Awards in New York. Meanwhile, he wore a custom-made Alexander McQueen at the Cannes Film Festival. In the past, Sanchez has designed music videos for Common and Jack White. (She has also done red carpet work for the likes of Emma Watson and Rosario Dawson.) She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and has teaching certificates in sustainability and corporate sustainability from UCLA and NYU, with an emphasis on social and change advocacy in the environment as part of her styling work.
Warren Alfie Baker is also one to keep an eye on. The LA-based stylist specializes in menswear and has clients including Andrew Garfield, Zachary Levi, Glen Powell, KJ Apa, Diego Boneta, Harry Shum Jr., Finn Wolfhard, Patrick Dempsey, Dylan O'Brien and Lucas Hedges. At the Globes, he will dress Ben Affleck, joining "Air," Matt Bomer ("Fellow Travelers") and Andrew Scott ("All of Us Strangers").
Celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi, who dresses both men and women, has a buzzy star to dress at the Globes: Jeremy Allen White ("The Bear"), who recently appeared in his first Calvin Klein ad.
Mizrahi teamed her up with stylist Elizabeth Sulcer before taking a job at Vogue in New York. She then moved to LA, where she assisted stylists Petra Flannery and Simone Harouche. Her big break came when Eva Mendes asked her to dress her for the 'Place Behind the Pines' press tour. (She'll also dress Jennifer Lawrence, nominated for "No Hard Feelings," and Riley Keough, nominated for "Daisy Jones & The Six.")
Samantha McMillen is also a well-known name for styling men and women. At the Globes, she will dress Charles Melton for his role in "May December" and "Poor Things" nominee Mark Ruffalo (along with "The Great" nominee Elle Fanning, "Lessons" nominee Brie Larson). in Chemistry," and Jodie Foster, nominated for "Nyad").
