OK, this is going to sound a little crazy. But Monique Lhuillier's new collection, shown this week at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, totally reminds me of the upcoming movie: Oz, the Great and Powerful. The malachite greens, the art deco influences, and the dramatic gowns are all elements of both the movie and Monique's Fall/Winter 2013 pieces. I don't think this was planned, but it just made me love the collection even more...
