It’s Christmas Eve, which for me, means the time of year when I catch up on my Christmas movies, getting myself in the Christmas spirit. Of course, there are all the requisite Christmas Specials, like Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, or Frosty The Snowman, and those are must-watches. But what films do you pull out of your own collection this time of year?
For me, this year means a repeat viewing of some of my favorite Christmas films. The first two Home Alone movies are a must. Will Ferrell’s instant classic Elf is another yearly venture. I also might watch Polar Express, Bad Santa, or Love Actually, but I seem to be more content doing them on an every-other-year basis. I’ve added some new favorites to my rotation, including Arthur Christmas and Rise Of The Guardians, and I finally bought The Santa Clause and Jingle All The Way on DVD.
I know people have a regular viewing of A Christmas Story every year, but it has never been my film. So what are your Christmas must-sees? Am I missing anything?
