The Academy of Dung Beetles' Award is being rolled toward the principal of the Garden Gate Elementary School in Cupertino, California, who suspended a fifth grader and threatened him with expulsion for bringing a small Swiss Army knife on a school-sponsored, science-oriented camping trip. More.
