Verdict on The Deepest Breath
The Deepest Breath is a documentary taking us into the world of free diving. It follows a champion free diver Alessia Zecchini and the most famous safety expert Stephen Keenan. We get to learn more about their lives and what drove them to this extreme passion in their lives.
By following their lives, we see how they found a team and improved the safety measures for the people participating in the sport. However, not everything can be planned out perfectly in such an extreme sport. This shows us the dangers even with the best safety experts around and the medical staff if anyone is in danger.
When it comes to Alessia’s side in the documentary, we follow her chase to be a world record holder. This sees her competing against divers who are after their own records, in friendly competition. While Stephen’s side of the story follows his own desire to make sure people were safe after his own near miss.
This ends up becoming fascinating and edge of your seat, as you see the dangers involved. However, it proves that the community is incredibly close, despite the competition in the ranks.
Where to Watch: The Deepest Breath is available to watch on Netflix now.
Final Thoughts – The Deepest Breath is a fascinating documentary.
