The Common Hawthorn

By Plantedd @Plantedd

Now that the main flush of daffodils has come to an end, I find myself thankful for the brief moment of restful whites that give a pause in the landscape before the noisy colours strike up again. An interlude that is provided by things like cow parsley, the elderflower and the hawthorn with their simple flowers.

I'll be taking a quiet moment this weekend to enjoy this break in the rhythm.
