Plot: A girl who can see colors in people’s hearts joins a band with two other people.

Story: The Colors Within starts as we meet student Totsuko who can see people’s auras in different colours. She struggles to fit in until she finds a band where she can express her feelings. As she spends time in the band she enjoys fitting in and finding a bigger purpose in life and her aura ability becomes stronger.

The movie follows a student who can see people’s auras. She doesn’t fit in because of this and ends up searching for a place to get welcomed. It sees her join a band, where she turns her ability into music.

Best Parts

The feeling of not fitting in comes through strongly throughout the movie. It paints the idea that we can learn to find peace in another world which gives us happiness. The music elevates the transformation and meaning of acceptance. We get a firm message that somewhere, everyone fits in and it is more about the journey to get there.
