Verdict on The Bunker
The Bunker is a sci-fi horror following a group of scientists working on a weapon to fight back against an alien invader. However, their isolation starts taking over, as the aliens try to fight back against them. It becomes a race against time and a battle against controlling their own realities.
This movie brings a different approach to an alien invasion movie. The unknown threat is there, outside and waiting for something. However, we follow scientists trying to solve a connection while being targeted taking them through a nightmare scenario. The movie is filled with jarring experiences and disturbing imagery leaving the characters floored. We get strong performances throughout with Chelsea Edmundson shining in the leading role. This surprises the alien invasion concept and brings a fresh approach to the battle humanity could face.
Final Thoughts – The Bunker takes us on a nightmarish journey in the battle for humanity.
