The Book That Wasn’t Suppose to Be…Is

By Writerinterrupted @writerinterrupt

Digging Up Death, the book my agent signed me with four or so years ago, which he shopped around, but couldn’t sell to the CBA, the story I labored over for several years, and had to bury, then resurrect and rewrite, only to bury it again has been resurrected and given new life…and a beautiful cover!

To be honest, it’s not what I envisioned, it’s better! I LOVE it! Thanks to the wonderful design team at Stonehouse Ink for a TO DIE FOR cover!

I’ve been told it may release end of September!

When I signed the contract this summer the publisher said it could be a Fall release. But then I didn’t hear from them for a while, and I didn’t think a Fall release was possible. But when they said they were rushing the cover for ACFW, things started to sink in. It was possible!

After SIX years, the story I thought would never see the light of day will come out in ebook form by the end of Sept and be available in print late October!

Wow! I’m still in shock and the stress of a FAST book launch is approaching. How can I possibly put something together that doesn’t look like it was… thrown together?

Several author friends have already stepped up to tell me that they will help by hosting me on their blogs and writing reviews. For that, I am so grateful, since I anticipate edits back from the publisher today and will be busy with trying to get promo things ready for ACFW!

But I could use MORE HELP!

If you’re reading this on the internet or by mail, and you can help me spread the word about this book (and share my story of never giving up hope on a dead dream/book) then send me an email or leave a comment!

I’m not above begging! But the community at Writer…Interrupted is so wonderful and supportive, I don’t think I’ll need to!

Happy Monday! Never give up on your dream!
