The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Range Review

By Remielund @remsluxuryblog

By the time you read this, I’ll be in a hot tub, sipping champagne on my hen do but I couldn’t leave without telling you about my new favorite things. Now, I tend to shy away from overly scented products so I was fairly hesitant when the Virgin Mojito range from The Body Shop landed on my doorstep. Mojitos are one of my favorite cocktails so I was more than a little excited to try them out. Who cares if we’re still wearing jumpers in June, these essential beauty buys will add a touch of summer to your day.

Virgin Mojito Body Scrub here, Shower Gel here, Body Sorbet here.

I didn’t think I could love anything more then The Body Shop’s Green Tea range but the Virgin Mojito range wins hands down. As soon as you take off the lid, your entire bathroom is filled with a minty fresh scent with a hint of lime that’s exactly like a mojito.

The shower gel smells divine and makes you feel summery even if it’s dull outside. I’ve been using the exfoliator daily as it seems to lightly polish your skin rather than take off the top layer.

Great if you want to glow, not great if you have pesky fake tan to remove. This product smells just as beautiful as the shower gel but is more suited to the bath as it is in a tub.

My favorite product in this trio is the body sorbet even though I’m tricked into thinking I’m on holiday every time I open the lid. The scent is positively tropical and you can just imagine popping it on after a day in the sun. When it’s hot I hate thick moisturisers that never seem to soak in. This one is more like  gel that glides on and melts in leaving skin silky smooth. I also think it has a cooling affect that you don’t get with thicker lotions. If you do prefer a richer texture, there is a body butter in the Mojito range that will float your boat.

This entire range is limited edition so if you want to get your mitts on it you’d better be quick! Have you tried the Mojito range?
