The Blue and White Steinglacier (Steingletscher), Towards Sustenpass, Switzerland

By Artborghi @artborghi

If you think Furkapass, Rhone Glacier, Gletsch cogwheel steam rail and Grimslepass were not worth the trip …

… here comes the road up to the blue and white Steingletscher, after a good night stop in Innertkirchen.

The magnificent Sustenstrasse climbs up this untouched valley

cuts through the cliffs via several tunnels carved into the rocks

and when the valley seems to come to and end without any exit

here comes the blue and white Steingletscher

Enjoy this 70-200 mm VR-II zoom view, the other pictures shot with 16-35 mm f/4. Soon the last stop-over of this fantastic voyage though the heart of Switzerland. Click each picture to magnify.
