The Biscuit Bear Breakfast

By Remielund @remsluxuryblog

Lotus Biscoff Spread (Crunchy here, smooth here).

Also fondly known as the best breakfast in the world. I first saw teddy bear toast on Pinterest but they all seemed to be made with peanut butter which was quite frankly very upsetting. Teddy bear toast should be something everyone can enjoy, so I found a way around it thanks to Lotus Biscoff Spread. That’s right, those yummy caramelised biscuits that you sometimes get with your coffee now come in spread form. I bought the crunchy and smooth version for my boyfriend earlier this month and we hadn’t quite decided what to make with it. Until now. Introducing the biscuit bear breakfast.

I’m fairly partial to a breakfast biscuit but this recipe takes my love to a whole new level. To make the biscuit bear breakfast, you will need:

A tub of Lotus Biscoff spread (I got mine from Waitrose)

Two slices of seeded toast

Half a banana

A handful of blueberries

As biscuit spread isn’t exactly the healthiest start to the day, I choose seeded wholemeal toast from Marks and Spencer’s pumpkin and sunflower loaf to offset the guilt. Tweet me your creations if you decide to give it a go!
