The Best of TV & Movies Review - Drumond Park

By Etspeaksfromhome
What do you normally do after a big Christmas dinner?  Our usual routine is to get everyone playing board games or video games.  This Christmas, we had the Best of TV & Movies from Drumond Park to play with.We gathered everyone and split into two groups.  This game is to play with two to six players or two teams of any number.  We tried to arrange everyone into teams of different ages.  This game is based on general knowledge from children's television shows to family shows like Strictly Come Dancing to adult shows like The Godfather.  Some questions will obviously be hard if they have never watched them!  The game is recommended for aged 12 and above.  Of course, it does not stop the very young ones joining in too.  Mr K (aged 6) was able to sing the first two lines of the Postman Pat theme song but the adults struggled! The game comes with:400 Question cards3 Bonus cards6 Playing piecesPlaying boardInstructionsOn the back of the Question cards, there are four questions.  The first question is above the Orange stripe followed by Purple, Blue and Green.  The answer to the questions are on the stripe.  There are three kinds of Question cards: Picture, Theme and Pot Luck cards. The game is very straightforward - answering the questions correctly will help you progress along the board to win the game.  It is not always asking a question, it can also be humming or guess the pictures.  We found some of the questions really hard especially as none of us are experts in some movies, sitcoms or soaps.  But it is a great challenge and we are always learning something new!  Thanks to Drumond Park for filling our Christmas break time with challenges!  This is a game that we will play over and over again!  There is always something you will not remember or know!  I didn't realize that in the first Mission Impossible, Ethan Hunt never fired a gun in the scene although he is a combat/firearms expert.I have a giveaway to win the board game and a mini one.  Click here to enter!
Disclosure: We have received the game to do an honest review.
