The Best of P&G; Product Review

By Sassysweetstyle @ChaniaB

I was recently given the opportunity to participate in Procter & Gamble’s Share, Love, Celebrate the Best of P&G program offered by SheSpeaks.com. They were sending out an assortment of products from P&G’s award-winning brands: CoverGirl, Olay, Pantene, Venus, Gillette, Bounty, Cascade, Charmin, Dawn, Febreze, Swiffer & Tide.

This is the kit I received.

My letter

Gillette Hydrator Hydrating Body Wash (Sample Size) Retails $3.99 full size

Pros: 1.My husband just used up his other sample bottle that came with his shampoo, so it was nice to replace it for free! 2.It smells really clean, yet manly.  3.  A little bit goes a LONG way…R used his last bottle for about a month & a half before running out & it was the sample size. 4.  R’s extremely sensitive skin does not react to it. 5. It is affordable especially if you can get a coupon of of the brandSAVER coupon booklet.

Cons: None according to my husband.

Verdict: I have purchased & will  continue to purchase.

Swiffer Dusters Kit $3.99

Pros: 1. I have been using Swiffer for years, so it was like seeing an old friend.  2.  They do an awesome job of picking up dust & not flinging it every where.  3. The handle is small, so it does not take up a lot of space in the cabinet.  4.  The refills are affordable, especially if you get coupons from the brandSAVER coupon booklet. 5. The handle is useful in getting lost items out from behind/under things, especially in tight spaces.

Cons: 1. You have to be cautious when using, because the plastic can scratch tables/glass.

Verdict: I have been a loyal Swiffer customer for years & will continue to be one.

febreze Car Air Freshener linen & sky $2.99

Pros: 1. I love that you can clip it to your vent & leave it alone. 2.  The smell is clean & fresh, so I won’t get sick of it. 3.  It says it lasts for 30 days, but I have found that they will last about 60 days if you have it on the lowest setting. 4. Affordable, especially if you have a coupon from the brandSAVER coupon booklet.

Cons: 1.  The smell can be pretty strong the first few days until you get used to it.  2.  If the oil leaks out, it can be difficult to clean off of leather/carpet so be careful.

Verdict: I would purchase once the refill runs out.

CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara $6.23

Pardon the messy eye makeup, my allergies are raging like crazy!

Pros:  1. Easy too apply.  2. Defined my lashes without being clumpy.  3.  Didn’t irritate my eyes.  4. Wore all day & it did not run.  5. Easily washed off when I wanted it to. 6. Affordable especially with a coupon from the brandSAVER coupon booklet.

Cons:  1. It took me a while to build up product on the wand, but I usually have that problem with all mascaras.  2.  The bristles on the mascara wand hurt a little bit, but they I would hope they would soften up over time.

Verdict: I would not buy, simply because I still prefer my Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Flared Mascara over the CoverGirl, but I still feel it is a great product.
