Happy Saturday Lovelies. Saturday is usually my pamper day because I tend to have more time in the morning so although I've been using the new January GlowwBox edition products for a week now, today I really got into them. Initially I already knew that the Beauty Kitchen Inspire Me 60 Second Manicure, Neal & Wolf Glow Super Shiny Spray, and the S5 Replenish Serum were going to be my favourites but I didn't count on the UrbanVeda Radiance Exfoliating Face Polish being my ultimate favorite.
Nothing in the past years has been able to sway my loyalty to St Ives exfoliating scrub but when I tried the UrbanVeda Radiance Exfoliating Face Polish, I immediately had to get the full size. My face doesn't tend to respond well with perfumed products but it really took to the face polish, which has a pretty alluring scent. I love the micro beads that really cleanse the skin and it doesn't leave that dry feeling after wash.
The Beauty Kitchen Inspire Me 60 Second Manicure did exactly was I expected it to do, in that it worked as a great scrub and made my hands feel soft and moisturized after. What I didn't expect was that the granules actually dissolve during the scrubbing process, which I think is genius because it means that you won't scrub excessively and/ or irritate the skin.
I like the Neal & Wolf Glow Super Shiny Spray because although it's says 'super shiny', it actually gives a light glow which is perfect for me as I hate overly grease-shiny looking hair. I guess the more spray you apply, the shinier it'll be but a few spritz' worked for me. Thankfully it's not overly greasy for an oil spray and it has a lush scent too.
I've only been using the S5 Replenish Serum which is great for dry or scarred skin for a week now so I'm yet to see results but I can say it has a nice natural scent to it and is not overly greasy. It does feel like it just sits on the skin as opposed to soaking in but I guess if that's how it works then that how it works. I've only been using it on my face for black heads and dryness since this winter is really kicking my skins butt but I look forward to seeing some results soon.
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Angled Shadow Brush is a lovely addition to my make up kit. Even though I rarely wear eyeshadow, when I do I use a normal small brush to apply and blend. This brush makes it so much easier to do the job with its tapered effect and soft bristles and I love the simple look of it as well, so chic.
So I'm giving the GlowwBox January 2015 edition a score of 5/5, not a bad start to the year which definitely showed The Best Of British. I'm also loving the new GlowwBox square gift box and the new mini magazine included, which really adds even more luxury to the beauty box. Enjoy! TL. Xx
