What we really like about this Griffin wall charger is the compact size. This slips easily into a pocket and can deliver 18W of power. This is enough to charge a current Apple iPhone or Google Pixel phone at top speed. There is only a single USB-C port and the wall sockets pop out on the other side. The USB-C port supports the Power Delivery standard. All you need is a USB-C to USB-C cable or a USB-C to Lightning cable and you can plug it in and charge it. Inside there are some smart circuitry that will determine the best charging price for your smartphone or other connected device. This charger is ideal for on the go and also likes to charge tablets and other small devices with a USB-C port.
Ultra-thin RavPower charger
This is the most compact charger we've ever used that can deliver up to 45W of power. It has GaN technology inside; GaN stands for Gallium Nitride and this technology enables many manufacturers to produce smaller chargers than previously possible. The sockets can be folded out, making this charger even more portable. It has a single USB-C port that can deliver up to 45W. With this charger you can charge many modern smartphones at top speed. It was able to quickly charge all of our test phones, and with support for the Power Delivery 3.0 standard, we expect the latest Samsung, Huawei, Honor, and Xiaomi phones and possibly a few others, but your mileage, fast charging will vary. It will definitely charge iPads, the Nintendo Switch, and even laptops like the MacBook and Pixelbook too. Another thing we like about this charger is that it doesn't contain any superfluous light that could disturb you while you sleep.
Anker PowerPort Speed PD 30
This Anker wall charger, another portable charger with fold-out prongs, was able to quickly charge all of our test equipment. It can deliver up to 30W, which is enough to quickly charge almost any phone at top speed. It has a single USB-C port and a matte black finish, but there is also a subtle blue LED that lights up when connected. This can come in handy when sneaking into a darkened room and trying to plug in the cord without turning on the light, but it's dim enough. We don't think sleeping will bother you. Aside from the Anker brand, one of the most attractive things about this option is the affordable price. If you're looking for something that doubles as a laptop charger, the PowerPort Speed 1 has the same design but can deliver 60W but costs an additional $ 10.
Aukey 2-port USB-C wall charger
This Aukey charger is the ideal solution if you have several devices of different generations or brands with different requirements. It is equipped with both a USB-C and a USB-A port. So all you have to do is select the right cables and you're good to go - almost anything.
It's smart too. It automatically prevents devices from overcharging and changes performance based on what you plug into them. A laptop can get the full power of 30W, but an older smartphone will be charged to 12W. When two devices are connected at the same time, the charger will also change power to safely route the power supply through both ports at effective levels. It's also compact and easy to store in a bag or suitcase!
Fuse Chicken Universal
If you need more than one USB-C port for charging worldwide, then you should check out the Fuse Chicken Universal. Before we dive in, this thing hits 18W of power, which means it should quickly charge an iPhone XS or Pixel 3 (and it did when we tested it), but it won't quickly charge every phone. We found it worked fine with the Moto G7 too, but the Huawei P20 Pro didn't charge quickly. In the plus column there are fold-out prongs and a USB-C connection, but also a USB-A connection and an internal battery with a nominal capacity of 6,700 mAh. That's not all, because this clever device is also a wireless charging pad that can be used to quickly charge a Pixel or iPhone - it can charge up to 10W wirelessly. It is larger than the Mu, but also comes with interchangeable connector heads for the UK, Europe, the US and Australia.
OtterBox OtterSpot wireless charging system
As wireless charging protocols improve, wireless charging can also be a quick and convenient way to charge devices ... or in the case of the OtterSpot, multiple devices across the house at the same time. Below is a quick charge base that you can stack a fully wireless satellite charger on top: when it is charged, they act as 10W wireless chargers that you can take with you or place in the office or home when you need it. The base station can charge up to three satellite chargers at the same time, but the package only includes one to start up. This way, for example, you can charge your iPhone and AirPods at the same time or give the kids limited charging options.
