After bringing us the 70s in all its freedom but still forced into shapes and precise cuts, this time with the AW 2018 collection Nana Gotti gives us the chance to enjoy a triumph of patterns and shapes in all their beauty and power. A kind of “almost spring” feeling that is glowy and warm.
“My collection is an exploration of Iznik tile designs from Istanbul. The Iznik tiles come from the Ottoman Empire and usually consists of tulips, prunus flowers, and saz leaves. Throughout the collection, one can see the awakening of the Iznik patterns through the floral prints as well as the 3D cuts of the fabric. It’s a mix of romantic and futuristic designs.”
This collection is beautiful and rich without any doubt.
