Shelly Colvin may have said it best as she was ending her opening set Tuesday, “Apache Relay and The Weeks are up next; it’s like the best bill ever.” They didn’t let us down. A little piece of Nashville spent the night entertaining the crowd at Bowery Ballroom. The Apache Relay came out first in the night of dual headliners. They played songs from their new self-titled album as well as their 2011 record American Nomad. The Weeks followed up with a flashy performance themselves. From the sweet southern twang in the initial hello to the choreographed dance parts, the crowd was totally entertained. It was an awesome southern party in NYC.
