Happy Friday, brought to you by the the most adorable pup I've ever laid eyes on. After several back to back fun filled weekends, I'm looking forward to having a bit of down time over the next couple of days. This week was my first full week back at work after having 2 short weeks, and it's been rough getting back into the normal swing of things - with one less hour of sleep no less. My best friend's birthday is today, and we'll be doing a birthday dinner tomorrow night. Other than that, I plan to relax on the couch and get in as much Netflix and chill time as I can. I hope everyone has a fun weekend!

This week's reading links...

The college admission scandal that everyone is talking about. Say it's not so, Aunt Becky.

I ordered these pearl hair barrettes on a whim after doing "research" for yesterday's post. It seems like they may take a little bit longer than usual to arrive from Amazon, but at under $3 for a set of 3, I'll happily wait.

Speaking of Amazon accessories, these resin hoop earrings are an exact match from the pair I've been wanting from Bauble Bar, but at a fraction of the price.

These acrylic drop earrings make a big statement, and come in a pack of 4 different colors for under $10. Yes, please.

Disney released the first trailer for the live action version of Aladdin this week. I was super excited when the live action Beauty and the Beast movie was released a few years ago, but didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I have high hopes for Will Smith as Genie, though. Aladdin was one of my favorite childhood movies, so I hope the live action version lives up to the hype.

This will be my next bag purchase.

I just started reading this book last week, and so far so good. Has anyone read it? No spoilers, please.

Loving these mules (in white) for spring.

Daylight Savings Time kicked my ass this week. This article shares a couple of reasons why it may not be so bad after all.

NEED this Vanessa Mooney necklace.

Loved this post Victoria wrote about failure.

I made my first photo book with Chatbooks last week. It printed, shipped and arrived at my doorstep within exactly a week, and the quality is amazing.

Is it too early to start thinking about a Mother's Day treat? I've had this necklace with my name for years, but really want to replace it with Sebastian's name in this version.
