TETR.IO is back with exciting changes opening up new avenues for its wide range of players. There’s plenty of ways to experiment with the game now thanks to some of the following changes:
TETR.IO Season 2
- Requires Back-to-Back Charging instead of Back-to-Back Chaining.
- B2B transmits one for each attack (such as Guideline), but at B2Bx4, it begins to prepare a massive Surge Attack.
- Your Surge Attack commences at 4 (that is, you will be prepared with a Surge of 8 at, let’s say, B2Bx8).
- Your Surge Attack will be launched when you break back-to-back. It is divided into three distinct assaults.
- The All-Mini spin rule is now in effect. All-Spins, which are stationary spins including bits other than T, will be identified as Minis. They add (and keep) back-to-back, but they do not send.
- You will be able to cancel twice as many lines for the first 14 pieces if the amount of trash pending in your queue exceeds the amount of trash you have sent.
- Send 5 garbage bags after all clears. They do, however, also count as consecutive.
- The TR formula has been completely redesigned:
- The median is now 10,000 TR, however the range is still 0~25,000.
- Professional players have much more headroom thanks to the revised formula.
- In Season 2, your TR is probably going to be lower than in Season 1 (particularly right after placements are finished). The TRs for the seasons are not equivalent.
- X+ is the new rank:
- Only the top 0.2% are eligible for this elusive rank.
- If you disconnect, you can now rejoin the match:
- The player who is still in the game gradually wins points while you are away.
- How far ahead you were in score determines how much time you have to rejoin.
- You will always have 45 seconds or less to reconnect.
- Only one reconnection is allowed each match in order to curb disruptive behavior.
- The match is canceled and no TR is won or lost if both players disconnect.
