Detroit troublemakers, Terrible Twos share “A Word and a World” a hardcore punk but melodic track from their upcoming album, Horror Vacui out on urinal cake records. Latin for “fear of empty space”, Horror Vacui is the perfect description of their abrasive sound, thick with unsympathetic guitars, lo-fi synths, and arhythmic drumming, and, just look at the album art. They sing with a vaguely hopeless air over their caustic and spiky perambulations, “it will all make sense somewhere in time / let’s just hope we’re both alive”.
