With “Easter Island”, the Denver based Tennis continue their streak of beach pop classics. The seafaring duo leave us yearning for the ice-cream-cone coolness of summer with their two part harmonies and a deep burr of reverb. Much like their last album, Ritual in Repeat, Patrick Riley and Alaina More draw upon elements of surf rock, but “Easter Island” delves deeper into the fantasy aspect of oceanic wanderlust with its no frills production. Check out the track above and see them on tour this spring.
