reminded by ELLE's September issue that Autumn/Winter fashions are already creeping in, I think I can be pardoned on this occasion.
Im also clutching my latest read - Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
I love Fitzgerald's style of writing, he is a genius at creating such descriptive phrases that form perfect images in your imagination.
However, and I think a lot of English literature students will sympathise with me here, instead of simply enjoying the book and the story, I now find myself subconsciously noting the narrative techniques, the symbolism and the characterisation. It's so annoying!
