Teaser Tuesday [30] - Social Suicide by Gemma Halliday

Posted on the 27 March 2012 by Literaryexploration @Lit_Explorer
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's teaser is from... Social Suicide by Gemma Halliday
"As soon as I'd arrived home in a police cruiser, Mom had jumped into total SMother mode, wigging out that I was with the police (again), hugging me to within an ince of my life when she heard the cop say one of my classmates had been killed (which, honestly, was a little comforting), then totally freaking out that I'd been the one to find a dead body. (Again. Which, I had to admit, was totally freaky.) (Page 40)
