All thoughts and opinions are my own.As a child, I used to love to play soccer with kids in my neighborhood and now, as a Mom, the joy it brings my daughter is so wonderful to see. She loves hearing my own stories of how much it put a huge smile on my face to be working with a team, scoring a goal with my teammates and just enjoying getting up early to practice with everyone.Johnson & Johnson, the U.S. Soccer Federation, and the U.S. Soccer Foundation are teaming up to provide the next generation of female leaders with the inspiration and support they need to pursue their dreams. Together, we can help her reach those goals. Because she can. Johnson & Johnson is supporting the next generation of female leaders on and off the field by working with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to create the 'Because She Can' Innovation Fund.Click to SAVE NOW on participating Johnson & Johnson products. Available while supplies lastBeing a Mom myself, I want to share with my daughter that it's not always about being the best person on the team but trying to do the right thing, including passing the ball to your teammates and learning by example from what we can and need to work on, as well our own strengths and weaknesses.I decided to create a "Team-Ready Basket" with all of the items her and her teammates can enjoy while cheering on one another from the sidelines, including a few snacks, essential items for cuts and bruises, and other important things I think they'll need to help them stay focused. My daughter and a few team members suffer from allergies so, to keep them focused, I picked up Children's Benadryl® as well as Zytrec® to help them with those annoying running noses, constant sneezing, and itchy eyes. Now that the warmer months are coming, I make sure to have Aveeno® Lotion Sunscreen on hand to keep everyone's skin from getting burned no matter what time of day they are playing. I also include a few other fun things that may be needed throughout the game, such as BAND-AID® bandages for cuts and bruises that always seem to happen, a few other first aid supplies, orange slices to enjoy while waiting for their turn to get back into the game, and water bottles to keep them hydrated.I was able to grab everything at my favorite local retailer. What are some items that you grab or use for your kids playing soccer?
