Ceylon Teacher’s Union Secretary Joseph Stalin was arrested by police yesterday evening for organizing a protest at Bank street in Fort in violation of court order prevented protests in the area.
Stalin was arrested when he arrived at the Guru Gedara in Kollupitiya yesterday evening.
Police said that a Court order was also obtained preventing him from leaving the country earlier. He was to be produced in Court yesterday evening.
