Taylor Swift’s Music Video Director Vents Against The Meanie Critics
Joseph Kahn, the director of Taylor Swift’s video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” is once again defending Tay’s honor against critics. This time, it’s in regard to people either being “meh” or “It’s not good, Taylor” or “I liked that video when Beyoncé/Madonna/Katy Perry/[insert ANY other artist here] did it first” over her new song.
Some of the feedback for Taylor’s “LWYMMD” hasn’t exactly been the usual candy-coated sugar-sprinkled praise she’s typically used to getting. Joseph doesn’t like that, and he tweeted his displeasure. It’s not Taylor’s fault – it’s a double standard!
If I plan something as a man I'm a "genius." If Taylor as a woman plans something she is "manipulative." Double standards. This is wrong.

I’m sure he asked Kween T if he had done enough and could he get his friendship bonus now, pwetty pwetty pweeeeeze?! Apparently not, because he’s been tweeting about her non-stop pretty much since clips of the thing first aired:
Taylor smashes every streaming record, every download record, and demolishes VEVO YouTube records.
Media: Everyone hates Taylor.

No I do not tweet like a 15 year old girl. 15 year old girls tweet like me.
Iconic.

Not that Joseph really needs to be tweeting so much; “LWYMMD” is still on its way to breaking a bunch of records. But it’s nice that Joseph is doing the dirty work. Especially since Taylor’s plan is apparently to let this whole thing play itself out. She hasn’t Tweeted for six days. That might be because she’s too busy cackling with joy while reading all the daily reports of her streaming records. Or maybe she’s just getting in some low-key time with her new boo, actor Joe Alwyn. People says Tay is loving keeping him out of the private eye and getting to know him “without any pressure.” For now! You just missed the Fourth of July, Joe! Get ready for next year, and start saving up now. Your non-pressure I (heart) TS shirt is going to run you $50!
