Tata Nexon CNG launch ends the wait. It comes as India's first turbocharged CNG vehicle. Again, it topped the Maruti Swift S-CNG as the most powerful CNG car in the country. Tata Nexon price for the CNG variant starts from Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Nexon CNG comes with dual CNG cylinders, with a total capacity of 60 litres. It has a boot space of 321 litres, which is 61 liters less than the internal combustion engine powered Nexon. The company has fulfilled the wishes of the buyers by adding a panoramic sunroof to the CNG variant.
Tata Nexon CNG Powertrain and Mileage
Tata's new car has a 1.2 liter turbo petrol CNG engine. It will produce a maximum power of 100 PS and 170 Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox is available as a transmission option. Tata claims to get 24 km mileage per kg.

Special features of Nexon CNG include panoramic sunroof, 10.285-inch dual-screen setup (one for touchscreen and one for driver's display), ventilated front seats, 8-speaker sound system, auto AC, air purifier, height-adjustable driver and Front passenger seat belt, six airbags, blind spot monitor, 360 degree camera, etc.
