This song initially stood out to me for two reasons: the Kid Cudi feature and production from legendary No I.D., yet this was also a nice introduction to Hawaiian native Tassho Pearce. Apparently, "Satellites" was recorded back when Kanye was with the G.O.O.D. Music members in Hawaii working on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, but Pearce decided to release this one in anticipation of G.O.O.D. Company. The song is fresh with a nice beat and some crazy auto-tune that fits right in with the atmosphere of the tune.
